Every year when the weather takes a cooler turn I have to have the all too comforting, “Ham and Beans” soup. My Mom made this when I was a kid, and I HATED it! So funny how you can absolutely hate something as a child and then love it as an adult. I could eat this once a week, it’s so good.
The dish is super easy and quick, so what’s not to love.
Everything you need to know…..
* Chicken Broth
* Ham steak
* Fresh Garlic
* Fresh Parsley
* Season to taste
Throw it all in a pan, let cook for about an hour and you are ready to eat. It really is that simple. I don’t measure anything I just make it to taste. You can make as little or as much as you would like.
